Dr. Larry A. Huff currently serves as the Superintendent of Elkhart Community Schools, bringing a wealth of experience in educational leadership and student achievement.
With a doctorate in school superintendency from Oakland City University (2020), Dr. Huff has dedicated his career to fostering academic excellence. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Indianapolis, a master’s degree from Marian University, and is a graduate of the Indiana Aspiring Superintendent Academy. Additionally, he is Certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention. He has been recognized as a three-time recipient of Pike Township’s Superintendent Above and Beyond Award for his outstanding contributions to education.
Prior to leading Elkhart Community Schools, Dr. Huff served as Chief Academic Officer for the Metropolitan School District of Pike Township in Indianapolis. In this role, he spearheaded district-wide leadership for teaching and learning, leading to measurable improvements in student performance:
